May Day!

May is proving to be a great month for us so far! We have spent a bunch of time at the neighborhood pool, which is Evan's very favorite place. I don't think I have ever heard one little boy say the word "fun" more in 1 hour. I love it. He has a constant perma-grin when he is there and never even complains that he is cold. Avery on the other hand...hates the pool. She is happy if we stay pool side, with the shade drawn and the juice and treats aplenty. She is so like her Mommy!

She is such a snuggly bug and is a girl to the core! Her favorite toy right now is the phone from the kitchen which she loves to put up to her ear and say "ha", which we think is "hi". She loves to play with my wallet and take out all my cards and wave them around. I think we are in big trouble in the future with this one!!! She is walking everywhere and still loves Evan more than anything...and the good news is that he is really starting to love her too. She loves to play peek a boo with anything she can find and gives the greatest hugs. Here is a sweet video of her playing with Daddy.

Evan is really coming into himself. He is starting to be more accepting of grown ups and even has tried pudding a few times. We are working on a new reward system where he gets a sticker for all of the great things that he does. We are only on day 3 and he is already doing great. He loves to count everything and can almost make it to 20 (if you count the few "teen teen"s).
We have recently started to transition from the Puppy Dog theme his room has been since he was born to a Toy Story room. We have a long way to go before it is done but we have added some fun vinyl to a few walls and hope to do more soon. So far he loves it and goes around pointing to the stars. I'll post pictures when it is done. But for now...I need to put up another sweet picture of Ev...
Little Ev will be exactly 2 1/2 tomorrow. Time goes by so fast! We are also already getting excited for Avery to be turning 1 when we are in Salt Lake City. :)
