Wow! 7 months sure goes by quickly!!! Evan had his 7 month birthday today. He is learning new things everyday and is our little monster! He loves to go anywhere he isn't allowed and thinks it is really funny when I tell him "no no".
He is sitting up and crawling perfectly and loves to work on his standing on the couches and anything he can get his hands on. He is getting better at lowering himself to the ground without crashing (most of the time). He is addicted to Baby Einstein, but only 2 of them. His favorite song is If Your Happy and You Know It, but he still loves Where is Thumbkin.
He had the opportunity to try going up the stairs (with mommy at the top and daddy right behind him) and I am happy (and shocked) to say he made it to the very top on his first try! He loves to hammer anything he can get a hold of, though sometimes he does what Aaron and I refer to as the "hammerhead" where he hits himself in the head over and over...cries because it hurts...and continues to hammer. What a silly boy!
He is still big for his age and has nearly outgrown all of the 12 month clothes we have for him so we are going to start putting him in the 18 month stuff soon...crazy. Here is a video of a funny trick of his, he likes to pretend cough. I'm not really sure where he got it from, but it sure is silly!!!
