The night before last was one I will never forget! We were in the midst of a terrible thunder storm when we heard our door bell ringing and pounding on our door at 1:30am to be told that our building was on fire! It seems that the condo adjacent to ours was hit by lightening which sparked a fire. Thankfully, our other neighbor invited us into her home out of the rain to wait for the OK from the fire department. We are happy to say that everyone is safe and the only damage we sustained was some water in the kitchen and a broken AC unit...not good in June! Hopefully they will fix it today so we don't melt! Unfortunately our next door neighbor wasn't so lucky as her condo is no longer habitable. :( Thank God for firewalls! Scarry stuff!!!!
